CSN’s NLCS Celebration Coverage Wins

October 28th, 2009 · 5 Comments

When the Phillies won the pennant last week, most of the viewers watched the celebration on Comcast SportsNet which led with a 3.3 rating (29,000 households per rating point.)

That’s who I watched, as I prefer to watch the station that has been covering the team all year, instead of the bandwagon jumping broadcast channels.

    Amen, Laura.
Watching local Fox’s promos for Red October with Jerrick, Frederick, Kerri-Lee, Big Sue, Drayton and Anderson are nauseating…it’s nothing but a shameless ploy to get you to watch their third rate news programs. None of them are fans, and not one of them (with perhaps the exeption of Anderson) could name 3 players on the Phillies not counting the Phanatic.
Check out the youtube video of Barkann, Bottalico and Dutch in the studio before going to air watching the thrilling come from behind victory in Game 4 of the NLCS …now those are fans (and also fmr players that know the game). I’ll stick with the station that can cover it all. Leave the useless helicopter shots of drunken unemployed 20yo’s at Cottman/Roosevelt lighthing things on fire to Fox. Btw, that new reporter guy Sean (??) … he’s almost more embarrassing than Drayton. They should have those two do a sports -trivia showdown …loser has to wear a Yankees skirt and heels.

Al, simple question. Why are you still watching awful broadcast TV? You’re playing right into their hands by watching. It’s easy - don’t watch!

I hope you do not watch that awful programming on FOX 29, Wacky Jack.
