In an email, Brian Baldinger gave more details about his departure from Fox:
“My contract was up and they decided not re-sign me after 12 awesome years. A lot financially was involved. In addition to hosting playbook for NFL Network and working for Comcast locally and with Sporting News Magazine/Radio. I took a job with upstart Compass Media doing NFL games on radio. First game is Dallas v. Tampa Bay on September 13.”

Sorry to see economics dictate another personnel move at the network level once again…
Hope the Compass job for Brian can fulfill his hunger for NFL football. It’s a shame when good people are cast aside simply because of where their salary is on the spreadsheet.
